AIS Live ship tracking service was the first worldwide AIS network used for vessel tracking. It provides an online application with access to real time vessel position received by AIS Live’s network of AIS receivers. The AIS network coverage extends widely from Europe to North America, South America, the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Africa and the Far East.
The AIS Live provides data from more than 2,000 locations worldwide. The average number of online vessels is about 25 thousand. The position of each ship is displayed on web based map. The update rate is on every 3 minutes. Additional data is provided about each vessel – IMO number, MMSI, name, ETA, destination, call sign etc via Vessel Tracking Service.
